• Music Review: Furrytail EP by Saccadic Eye Motion

It was back in the Spring of 2009 when I met him. There was something about the way he carried himself, his calm demeanor, his creativity, that big fat album in which he encased his CD Collection. Nick Drake, Belle & Sebastian, Blaze's "Do You Remember House?", The Smiths and of course The Beatles, they were all in there.

You know that feeling you get when you walk through IKEA? That feeling you get when you use an Apple device and stroll around in an Apple store? That feeling you get when you use a Google application? When everything seems right in your world and everything is as it should be? Clean, smooth, sexy, functional and bright. That's him.

To tell you the truth, I've never had the slightest clue about what he's mumbling in those verses and I don't really care. It always seemed to fit right in there in between the the guitars, the drum beats and all manner of electronica.

SEM is intelligent music, by a supreme intelligence, for intelligent people. It lifts you up and carries you to places. It's your head throbbing in a good way. Doctors should be prescribing this stuff to their patients so in that respect all I have to say is "Take two Saccadic Eye Motions and call me in the morning".
